Adam holds a Professional Learning Facilitator position and serves as the Alternate Assessment Coordinator for Des Moines Public Schools, specializing in support of students with Intellectual Disabilities. Over the past two years, he has additionally contributed his expertise as a Special Education Consultant within DMPS.
With a profound commitment to the cause driven by personal experience as a parent to two children with intellectual disabilities, Adam's professional journey spans twelve years of dedicated service to students ranging from kindergarten through age twenty-one. His multifaceted roles as an educator, advocate, and now Professional Learning Facilitator and Alternate Assessment Coordinator underscore his comprehensive understanding of the needs of diverse learners.
